Timothy Wesco

Wesco voted YES on SB 1 (2025), Indiana's major property tax relief package providing $1.3 billion in homeowner savings (Source 4). He voted YES on SB 1 (2026), the Medicaid/SNAP immigration verification and work-requirements bill (Source 5). The Freedom Index rates Wesco's cumulative pro-liberty score at 56%, with 67% in the 2023–24 session.

Wesco voted YES on HB 1032 (2025 special session), the mid-cycle congressional redistricting bill that passed the House 57–41 with 11–12 Republicans dissenting; as committee chair he presided over and explicitly supported the bill's committee passage. The Freedom Index records 56% cumulative and 33% in 2021–22.

Wesco was listed as a coauthor of HB 1296 (2022), constitutional carry, which repealed Indiana's handgun license requirement and was signed into law as Public Law 175 (Source 7).
