Background

Timothy Wesco has represented House District 21, covering portions of Elkhart and St. Joseph counties in northern Indiana, since 2010, making him one of the longest-serving members of the current House caucus (Source 1). He was first elected at age 25 and currently serves as chair of the House Elections and Apportionment Committee and sits on the Natural Resources and Utilities, Energy and Telecommunications committees (Source 2). In addition to his legislative role, Wesco serves as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Elkhart and holds a BS in organizational management from Bethel College (Source 1). He ran uncontested in the 2026 Republican primary and previously won re-election in 2024 with 79.1% of the general-election vote (Source 2).
