Background
Sheila Klinker (D) was first elected to the Indiana House in 1982 and is one of the longest-serving members in the chamber's history (Source 3). She represents HD-27, covering Lafayette and parts of Tippecanoe County. Klinker is a retired educator with a Purdue B.S. in Elementary Education, an M.S. in Elementary Education, and an Ed.S. in Elementary Administration (Source 3).
