Background
Mitch Gore (born January 20, 1992) has represented House District 89 (parts of eastern and southeastern Marion County, including Beech Grove) since his first election in November 2020 (Source 2)(Source 9). He serves as a Captain with the Marion County Sheriff's Office overseeing community development, and is the ranking Democrat on the House Courts and Criminal Code Committee, as well as serving on Employment, Labor, and Pensions and Veterans Affairs committees (Source 9)(Source 10).
